#8. Ribena Blackcurrant and Ginger Cream Sauce


Yield: 1 cup

1 cup cream, 35% whipping
1/2 cup Ribena, Concentrated Blackcurrant Nectar
1 Tblsp whole ginger root, sliced

1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan on stovetop, bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer until liquid is reduced to one cup. Approximately 20-25 minutes.

2. Strain ginger out of liquid and allow to cool.

3. Serve over ice cream or lemon cake.
